Based in Frankfort, MI, Jiawei is a husband, pianist, and teacher who has been teaching piano since 2017. From the plains of Inner Mongolia to the grand concert halls of Austria, Jiawei brings a global explosion of musical passion to every student! A true citizen of the world, Jiawei’s journey took him from China to the US at seventeen, then across Europe—studying in Klagenfurt, Vienna, and Graz—before returning to Greensboro, NC to master the art of teaching. With an Artistic Diploma from the Carinthian State Conservatory and a Master’s in Piano Pedagogy under his belt, Jiawei isn't just a performer—he’s a high-energy mentor. Whether he’s teaching in German, Chinese, or English, his mission is clear: to make music an adventure. Currently finishing his DMA in Collaborative Piano at The University of North Caroline at Greensboro, Jiawei combines elite technical precision with a vibrant, modern approach to piano education.
